“In a world filled with the products of scientific inquiry, scientific literacy has become a necessity for everyone” (National Science Standards, pg. 1).
The study of Biology allows students to discover scientific understandings through an inquiry-based approach. Science is a process; it is not necessarily about getting the correct answer but about the reliability and validity of the data collected.
